Big sister Sky

After posting the news about Jade, I decided to give Sky some time in the spot light.....She was able to spend 2 weeks with Grandma and Grandpa North this summer while Kelly and I went to Costa Rica. Kelly was about 7 1/2 months prego with Jade, but she didn't let that stop her from making the most of the experience. This picture was taken at the lake during that week...

Baby Jade

Jaden Hendrix Finn was born October 7th 2008. He was 9 pounds 2 ounces and 21 inches long. Sky came to visit him in the hospital and you could tell right away, they were going to be close. Kelly and Jade made it home after 3 days in the hospital and have been focusing on getting him FAT! He is trying to figure out what kind of schedule he is going to be on, but we are trying to guide him in the right direction. The weather is changing from cool to cold and our lives are busier than ever with a large remodel/addition project going on, the 2 kids and 3 dogs.....but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Costa Rica

Kelly and I spent a week travelling around Costa Rica in July 2008. Kelly was about 7 months prego with Jade, but that didn't stop her. We had no plans other than rent a car and see what happened. We spent our first night with an active Volcano as our backdrop. Then headed down to the ocean (Pacific Side). The weather was Awesome and we found really cool places to rest our bones and feed our bellies. Major highlights were: the sloth that lived outside our room for 3 days, the active volcano bursting within view the first night, swinging bridge hike, sunsets, wildlife (alligators, monkeys, iguanas and jungle crabs), kayaking the Naranjo (twice), seeing a live Boa curled in a tree, dolphin/snorkeling tour, hike-hike-hike, drive-drive-drive, rice and beans, coffee and fresh fruit!
